…. … To the Moon and Back

Nothing has gone to my oblivion

Often, I see, and look at you

Adoring, and blowing blank kisses

Far up, or away, to however you show up

Through that vast distance.

Often, I wish to fly to you

Or dream of you

Descending down to me

Being a dashing Full Moon

And shining on me.

I wish you rose

And glowed to your full action;

They say your partial look on Earth

Symbolizes DECEPTION

Therefore I fear…

But love you so dear.

Greetings… to Goddess

Last night in dream

I saw your father

He was driving

In full gear, farther

He smiled in a fashion

I felt your vibration

But you were invisible

Around, yet untraceable

I addressed him as Da

As dear as my own pa

And asked him if the Temple had

Any exclusive ritual in hand

‘Sorry, no idea’ — he said so politely

Calling my surname, suffixed with ji

And suggesting that we take a break

Opened the door after pressing the brake

Then I waited and thought of you

The idol in Temple sparked with glow

I reached the door and chanted prayers

Folding my hands, till forming layers

‘Oh you’re here!’ pops your voice from behind

Smiles the Goddess, as she throws me a node!

Everything turns, then, just like a dream

As we turn sideways to a parlor ice-cream.

What happened next was clear to us both

Yet we did restrain Flames to the Moth !

Nourishing potion!

So proud to pose!

An’ N for Never

To part with, ever!

I caught the Star

I caught the Star

Above the woods

Far in the sky

Across the hoods.

There it did stand

Sparkling white

Beaming and blinking

With glory, yet quiet.

And there, upon it

I did salute its grace

And it did descend

To catch me by crest!

I wished to embrace

So stretched my arms

But off turned my Glory

And withdrew her charms.  😦 😦

I promise

I will not steal

Nor rob, seize or encroach

Never did I ever intend that either

I promise I won’t…

But will you offer me, for real?

Look at the plight of my unfurled hands

Do they forebode renunciation?

Please go ahead, and rest assured

I want to see you fruiting incessantly

Till eternity

I’ll wait

Hoping for the blessings

You’d ultimately shower on me!

To make you winner (Updated)

Turn, and take a step forward

Towards me

I shall double the pace of my flight

Towards thee.

Take but a step backward, I shall see

And glide back by five folds, per se

Helping you to succeed in

Stretching the gap between;

And blocking others racing in

To ensure, so that you may win.

Stride by leaps as far as you may,

Away to a distance you enjoy

Turn not backward, as to bother,

About me that may just wonder

My sole goal for ever

To make you the WINNER!

Hornet’s Grip

An imagery

A Poetry that’s aptly set

Yet gripped by a hornet.

Yet gripped by a hornet

Pungent on a side of light

Chilling on a bite.

Chilling on a bite

Healing demands soothing fest

Of feelings and zest.

Of feelings and zest

Prolonged with fuel to taste buds

Yet never at odds.

Yet never at odds

Mind and body both at ease

Elation, O please!

Elation, O please!

Or switch on second brewery

An imagery.

An imagery

A Poetry that’s aptly set

Yet gripped by a hornet.

Memories and longings

Urges reassured by mutuality

Passions versus forced abstinences

A war — deep, strong and rock-hard

Yet soft, flexible and blending

Palpably perceivable to warlords

Through eyes, skin, palm

Tangible, tacit, warm;

So attached even in detachment

Detached even in attachment

Unity of tongue, eyes and heart

Formation of a circlet smart

Pluck is what’s called the last call waiting

To make one — all that’s real pining.

Sometimes hissing, sometimes missing

Whistling you approach

Sometimes hissing;

Halting near me and

Sometimes missing.

Horn of plenty

Numerous abroad

Lovely tune, temporal

Strange thy keyboard.

Passengers aboard

You welcome in roll

As they alight

Forget ’em all.

A commuter, however, can’t afford

To miss you and our accord;

Days pass with memories in recollection

Pining for a swift ride to destination.

Mind again mulls over

Your majestic make

What a shape and figure

From engine to the deck !

And, oh! the beauty of the curve

Of your steering wheel, ahoy!

Unknown even to the driver

That touched you everyday!
