Window

window tree

My window to world

Window to nature

A witness to world

In witness aboard.

Ever open, to stretched vistas

Of meadows and mountains

And hills serene;

Ever unfurled to greet those eyes

That care to cast their glances so fine.

There could be doors, though kept ajar

And claimed to be left so to greet one so far

That can be banged and slammed out behind

Precluding views and the vistas beyond.

My window to world

Window to nature

A witness to world

In witness aboard.

    1. That’s too big a compliment for the poem…As for the pic, yes, made perhaps by Nature for my exclusive appreciation, no matter many others might have walked through, or seen, or some even might have tasted the fruits thereof in complete indifference…. Many thanks.
